TIM HENMAN'S best chance of winning Wimbledon "probably went four years ago" according to former champ Goran Ivanisevic.

The wacky Croatian was speaking with the draw set to be announced today at the All England Club following yesterday's seedings.

Henman has been seeded sixth. The 30-year-old is ranked ninth in the world but has been moved up thanks to his record of four semi-finals here.

Henman looked all set to beat Ivanisevic in the semi-finals four years ago before rain came to wash away his chances.

Ivanisevic went on to win the 2001 event and said last night: "That was probably his best chance, but then English weather helped me, not him.

"But he still has a chance. For me, Tim Henman always has a chance to win Wimbledon. He has the perfect game for the grass - actually for any surface, but especially for grass. So, for me, maybe this year, maybe next year, who knows?

"But he was the closest, that was for sure. Because usually he was losing to Pete Sampras in the semis. And then I showed up.

"After the rain he didn't play well, I played better. That's why I won."
