Does anybody know the speed of Goran's hardest serve?

It is said that the fastest ever was hitten in 1999 and it was 239.5 km per hour but I believed Goran hit around 245 at Wimbledon 2001

Goran has the record of number of aces hitted during a season but his serve is not so fast, well it s generally more than 200Km!
In Wimbledon 2001, Goran hitted 213 Aces!!!

I think that Goran is clever on placing the ball well, doesnt have to make 245Km/h serve to hit ace, he is an artist :)

I have seen Goran hit 154 mph at the Mercedes Benz Cup '98. They dont record the serves from the smaller tournaments. It wasnt televised so nobody knew about it. 154 mph is 5 mph faster than Greg Rusedski and Andy Roddick's fastest serves. Goran hits more aces than anyone and also can serve extremely hard. He is a genius.

hmmm.....154mph seems a bit high. I'm not questioning Goran's capabilities by any means , however I believe the fastest recorded serve Goran ever hit was at the Cincinnati Masters in the late nineties...135mph.

The most aces Goran has ever hit in any match came at the '97 Wimbledon Championships in which he rifled 46 blistering bombs past Magnus Norman in the 2nd round, but lost in five grueling sets. The 154 mph he hit wasnt a good serve. It was barely out. But it was a blistering hot day that day, which means the ball travels a lot faster. And when Goran is losing a match and is angry you don't know what he will do. He was angry and i think he didnt even intend to place the serve in play and he just smacked it. Radar gun read 154. I could barely see it when he hit it. And also, Ivanisevic is the best in aces (not Krajicek) because out of the top 10 most aces in any match of all time, Goran owns like 6 out of the ten records. 46,42,41,41, and 40. Nobody can consistently ace people like Goran did.

Well, GORAN holds the all time record...most aces ever hit period. Krajicek holds the all time record for 1 match. Goran holds the record for life. Take a chill pill yourself homeboi.

Alright I'm sorry. But i think he has served higher than 135mph before. Hmmm, does anyone know his fastest serve?

at l.a. he hit that out-serve over 150 mph, his fastes in-serve was 139,1 mph!

I think that sounds right. does anyone know how goran came up with his serving style? It is pretty awkwark but also cool looking right before he serves.

His fastest serve was 135mph, I'm almost 100% sure. It was against Kiefer at the Cincinnati tournament a few years ago. He confirmed it in an interview saying that he was surprised that Keifer returned it since it was his best effort.

I'm definitely sure he has hit harder than 135mph because in '97 his fastest that year was 137. I saw it with my own 2 eyes at Indian Wells. He said it was his best effort of the MATCH in Cincinatti a few years back. He definitely has the potential to hit it way up in the 130's.

thats right! i made a mistake when i wrote that his fastest was in l.a. , thats incorect (i know that he hit for shure once more than 140 mp/h, i willtry to find where it was)) ! @new heaven'98 ...222,4 km/h (139 mp/h)! one match that i can rember whwrw he hit several 135+ serves was 1996@us open against stefan edberg ...some of them where 138 mph (and that was a night match ...where the ball normaly travels a little bit slower!

dude, seriously, Goran has hit harder than 135. Everyone knows he is capable of hitting up in the 130's to 140's. His fastest serve in 1997 was 136mph.
