i think (hope) that nothing realy alarming hapend ...he retried afte 4:6, i thin he played with a bad/sore back and after the 4:6 he probably decided that it it better to stop than risk another wimbledon!

Goran - Nadal - LIVE COVERAGE
"This is it. I had hoped to go out with a bang, you know, at Wimbledon. But unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be. I said after winning Wimbledon 2001 that I don't care if I play another match in my life. God took me too seriously - I hardly have played too many matches since then. I can't complain though, winning Wimbledon was my dream, and I achieved that and I think today was the God's way of telling me that its time to hang up my racquet."

Alright someone, out with it... why did he retire from today's match? What is with this BREAKING NEWS that he officially retired today... if this is accurate info at the moment, then something really really serious must have happened to him on that court today. Someone, please clarify.

I really hope this doesnt spoil his last return to Wimbledon this year...

ah thats bull_shit!!!
no oficial report to date ....and the press is just to be held!

will see in 3,4 hours what it is?
i dont think that goran would stop just like that, he planed his BYE over the last year & it should be something special and not at some master series on american soil & specialy @ some tournamet where he never had luck or special moments, ...

willm se him play @ wimbledon play with one arm & naked :)

GO GORAN!!!!
