Ah well, he played well in the first set but it just fell apart a bit after that. I saw the first two sets on TV but then had to go out. So I have only just found out the final result. Still, good to see him out there on clay, so I'm getting my voice ready for lots of shouting in Rome.

This is so bad...this was the chance that I was talking about. He got the best draw he could have, and I hear that Roddick pulled out, if that was the case he had to play nothing but qualifiers the first two rounds. This is a real bad sign, I really have no hope for him on the clay. I don't see him winning any matches until the clay court season is over, I hope I am wrong. Well I got to go to work, lets hope Goran pulls it togeather.
